Hi:  I do not have access to the application I have questions about...yet.

There is an Access app that is written.  The backend is on SQL Server.  I a=
m asked to purge unnecessary customer and vendor records in the backend.

A copy of the current backend will be created.  That is the copy I expect I=
will purge from.

Question 1
Does Access provide a relationship diagram for SQL Server tables?  IOW, if =
I delete Customer A, will all records from all tables related to customer A=
be deleted as well?  IOW, are cascade deletes in SQL Server back ends perm=
itted or used?

If there is no relationship diagram, any recommendations on determining the=

We now have a production database and a copy of the production database.  I=
expect I will used the copy to purge from.  Once records are purged, how c=
an I make the current production the archived/temp/prior/backup database an=
d make the new purged database the prior named backend.  So the users will =
now be connected to the purged datbase and not the original database?

Question 4
Any other things I should consider before purging records?
